Working with ANC Movers: What to expect
Choosing gun safe movers
Moving a gun safe isn’t the same as packing up a house or office (although we’re great at that too!). When choosing professional gun safe movers you need to look for experience. Since 1998 we’ve moved hundreds of gun safes in the Vancouver area. We work with:
- Homeowners moving their gun safes to a new home, apartment, or condo
- Business owners like pawn shops and sporting good stores
When you’re searching for a gun safe mover you can trust, compare rates, get written estimates, and make sure you know what the job will cost. Ask to see a valid permit from the Utilities and Transportation Commission (UTC), as well as proof of insurance.
You’ll also want to find out how much advance notice is needed, especially if you need your gun safe moved in a hurry. In addition to a gun safe moving company’s availability, find out their schedule. At ANC Movers, for example, we work Monday-Saturday.
How we move your gun safe
When you call us, we’ll start by asking you some questions. Our process takes only a few minutes and we can usually give you a quote over the phone. Because of our experience, we know the right questions to ask and usually won’t need to come out to your location before giving you an accurate quote.
We’ll need to know: the make and model of your safe (so we can look up the dimensions and weight), as well as where you’ll be moving to and from. We’ll ask if there are stairs to navigate or any other issues that might add complexity to the move.
On the day of the move, you don’t need to do anything!
Our team will come 100% prepared to move your gun safe. We’ll bring everything, including a cover, dollies that protect delicate floors, skid, ramps, and everything else it’ll take to get the job done.
We are happy to visit your home or business for a free no-obligation estimate.
